Background

practis is a human services consulting firm.

We started practis, a human services consulting firm, after transitioning from over 30 years of building and leading Climb Wyoming, one of the nation’s most successful and highly recognized models for moving families out of poverty. While developing the Climb model, we also put into practice a framework for building a psychologically informed workplace which allows for dynamic working alliances to thrive across an organization.

At practis, our partnership leverages the best of each of us. Our unique combination of skills offers a results oriented, engaging experience through staff skill building, program design and change management consulting. We bring practical solutions to organizational needs.

“I have worked closely with Ray and Colleen for over a decade. They share a broad knowledge and understanding of human and organizational behavior, a keen sense of the most important issues and an ability to motivate individuals to perform at their peak. Together they are able to explore different perspectives and challenge existing beliefs in order to bring out multiple viewpoints and translate them into helpful knowledge through their training, coaching, and consulting.”
- Steven J. Chen, PhD., Organizational Consultant
